Donation Program - IT'S SIMPLE!
Teacher/Administrator Incentive: When a Teacher, Principal, Asst. Principal, Guidance Counselor or Librarian from your school purchase a vehicle, they will receive a $500 discount off the price of the vehicle and we will donate $500 back to your school. Bring your Teacher/Administrator Donation Card along with your employee ID at the time of purchase to receive your incentive.
Other School Employee Incentive: Other school employees such as Institutional Aides, Administrative Staff, Bus Drivers, Custodial Staff, etc. will receive a $300 discount off the price of the vehicle and we will donate $300 back to your school. Bring your School Employee Donation Card along with your Employee ID at the time of purchase to receive your incentive!
ALL DONATION CARDS must be presented at the TIME OF PURCHASE. Limit of one donation card per vehicle purchased.

Growing the Future Car Giveaway Winners
Congratulations to Stacy Bishop for winning a brand new car! Shelor offers a raffle ticket program to all public schools in their Growing the Future Program to help students and their school earn money needed for field trips, school supplies, uniforms, sports teams needs, etc. Our program has 55 schools which includes every elementary, middle and high schools in Montgomery, Giles, Floyd, Wythe, Craig, Pulaski, and Radford City.
Over $117,000 went back to our local schools from this raffle ticket program this school year!
Our three finalists attended the Pulaski River Turtles for a live drawing to determine the winner! The other two ladies that didn’t win the vehicle still walked away with $1,000 each.

Chastity Jones- purchased her ticket from Narrows Elementary/Middle and walked with $1,000
Heather Whitaker- purchased her ticket from Christiansburg High School and also walked away with $1,000
The winner of the Shelor Growing the Future Community Partnership Car Giveaway of a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage is Barry Beadles. Thanks to co-owner of Shelor, David Hagan who drew the winning ticket. Beadles purchased his ticket from Craig County High School. "I was grateful to win the car from Shelor", said Beadles. "Thank you for the great staff that helped me with this process!" The Car Giveaway celebration was held at the Growing the Future Talent Show Finale at Blacksburg High School. The top five finalists were present and all walked away with Matt Hagan Outdoors gift card. Mary Tucker, PTA staff at Christiansburg Elementary School said "CES is so thankful for the support of Shelor. We have been able to provide for many events with the Growing the Future program. This money helps with field trips and other student needs throughout the year". Local elementary, middle, and high schools sold over 50,000 tickets at $1 each. Schools kept 100% of the proceeds. Shelor plans to give another car away in Spring 2016.
The winner of the Car Giveaway for 2010-11 was Sue Kass, a teacher from Blacksburg Middle School & the winner for 2011-12 was Belinda Blodgett. Shelor will continue this program again for the 2013-14 school year. The entire program is branded as Growing the Future: Community Partnership. All public schools in Montgomery, Pulaski, Giles, Floyd Counties and Radford City are invited to participate. Shelor's commitment to local schools began over 10 years ago with the $1000 scholarship program for 10 graduating seniors each year. Three years ago, Shelor added a (1) donation program for student's family and friends who purchase vehicles, (2) incentives for faculty and staff, (3) marketing materials for promoting this program, and (4) a fundraising program for a chance to win a new car. Over $400,000, in the past year alone, has been donated to elementary, middle and high schools in our area because of this program. Shelor considers this program: Growing the Future Community Partnership, an investment in the future by supporting education and children in our local communities.
